Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Helene McManus can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Helene McManus (Brousseau)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Extendicare Timmins on Friday May 7, 2021 at the age of 75 years. Beloved mother of Roger McManus (Chantel Cashabec), Amy McManus (Stephanie Parker), late Susie Stevens, late Ronnie McManus and late Louise McManus-Conrad. Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Alexandra, Madison (Ryan Wright) and Alison (Gavin Martel). Sister of Simone Peterson, Jackie Lahaie, Jeannine Urquhart and Camille Brousseau. Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews and friends. Helene was predeceased by her parents Leonel and Leontine Brousseau.

The family would like to thank Ron Peterson, brother-in-law to Helene, for the continued help and care he provided throughout the years. Also, a special thank you to sister-in-law Marie-Paul Guenette who remained a close friend over the years. Marie-Paul would often bring Helene communion so she could continue her religious beliefs throughout her illness.

In light of the current pandemic restrictions, private visitation will be held followed by a private funeral service. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
