The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of Nicholas Resetar of Schumacher. Dear mother of Nicholas Resetar Jr. (Stephanie) of Grimsby, Angela Resetar-Lahaie of Peterborough, Michael Resetar (Kim Stuart) of Timmins and Matthew Resetar (Shannon) of Timmins. Cherished Baba of Sarah, Emily, Meaghan, Erica, Ethan and Marissa. Dear sister of Anne Cavrak of San Mateo, California. Helen was born in Sudbury Ontario and was a proud resident of Creighton Mine. She completed her nursing studies at the Marymount School of Nursing and went on to a long and successful nursing career culminating with her retirement as Director of Nursing at the Golden Manor. The family wish to thank the staff at Timmins and District Hospital for the care and compassion Helen received. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 3:00pm from St. Anthony’s Cathedral. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00pm at St. Anthony’s Cathedral. Masks and social distancing measures will be required. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
