Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Hazel Duquette can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Laurie and Paul D’Alessandri
Condolence: She was absolutely the sweetest woman ever..we were so saddened to hear of her passing..we were the young ones in the neighborhood and we
loved listening to all the stories shared by all of the seasoned Cody avenue neighbours…she loved her family more than anything and she was so proud of them all..we really missed her when she sold the homestead…the one she would so proudly say that her and Jack built..Paul loved to tease her, especially after a fresh snowfall and he would beat her to shoveling..( that was very rare though 😉 )
She is in the arms of her soulmate and that gives us peace…Fly high sweet Hazel and May you Rest in Eternal Peace..

Condolence From: The Legasy family
Condolence: Dear Mark, Rick and families, Our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, Hazel. She and your Dad were such wonderful friends to Elmer and Pat and the Legasy family over the many years of living as neighbours on Cody Avenue. Can one count the number of times that a smile and a laugh were exchanged over 50 plus years? There were just so many - to help get through the long winters, to catch up on the kids, share happy news and of course to help cope with sickness and loss. One warm memory for Elmer was when Hazel decided to have a 70th birthday dinner for him - he talks about it still! Such good memories. Your Mom was full of energy and fun (we’ll miss her laugh) and such pride in her home and family - always a happy word to share about her kids and grandkids. Hazel, you will be missed. Elmer Legasy and family
