The family announces with sadness her passing at home on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jacques Duquette (Oct. 2012). Loving mother of Mark (José) of Schumacher and Richard (Sylvie) of Blezard Valley. Cherished and caring grandmother of Courtney (Tom), Kaara (Justin), Kieran, Meaghann, Kelsey (Chris), Aaron and Sabrina. as well as loving great grandmother of Ari, Zoe, Phoebe, Sydney, Denver, Brielle, Maverick, Timothy, Luc and Lincoln.
Survived by her siblings Arnold (Donna), Beryl (late Harold), Douglas (Rudi), Sadie (Ron) and Susan. Also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, the late Doris (Lucien), Denise (Jean), late Ronald (Madeleine), Gaetane (Andy), Denis (Michelle) and Nicole (Allan). Left to mourn are many nieces, nephews and many friends.

Also predeceased by her parents Clarence and Angela Campbell, her siblings Ronald (Janet), Foster, Sandra and her sister-in-law Jacqueline.

Hazel worked a few years as a bookkeeper then later as a housekeeper for 17 years at the Golden Manor. She loved puttering around and cleaning at the cottage. She enjoyed reading, knitting and doing puzzles. The family would like to thank Marnie Chisholm for her care and dedication and Liz Feldman from Bay Shore Nursing for her compassion and dedicated treatment of our mother.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10-11:45 am followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon. As per the family's request, mandatory mask wearing will be implemented. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer society or Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, ON.
