Frenette, Gratien (1931-2019)
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at home on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of 62 years to Therese Frenette (nee Gagnon). Loving father of Denis (Denise) Frenette of Ottawa, Michel Frenette of Timmins, Pierrette (Roger) Girard of Timmins and Lise (Denis) Genereux of Timmins. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Marc, Chantal, André, Alexis, Nathalie, Tammy, his step granddaughter Laurie, his 12 great grandchildren and his sister Ghislaine Lefebvre. He was predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Roselle Frenette, his son Pierre Frenette, his sister Fernande Pollock and his brother Gaston Goulet. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
