Obituary for Glen Wayne Cheechoo

It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 50 years. Beloved son of George and late Beatrice Cheechoo. Cherished brother of Oliver (Judy) Cheechoo, Bobby (Beverly) Cheechoo, late Ronald (Cheryl) Cheechoo, Mervin (Carol Anne) Cheechoo, Eileen Carey, Ruth Biedermann, Doug M. Cheechoo, Gordon Cheechoo and David (Greta) Cheechoo. Dear uncle of Olivia (Kevin) Perry, Darryl (Pam) Cheechoo, Theron Cheechoo, Beatrisha Cheechoo, Colten Kingfisher, Jonathan (Ashley) Cheechoo, Kari (Paul) Galea, Jordon (Katarina) Cheechoo, Ashley (Thomas) Biedermann, Lacey Biedermann, Preston Biedermann, Colten Cheechoo, Karlene (Sam) Cheechoo, Krystal Cheechoo, Kandice (Ryan) Cheechoo, Marny Cheechoo, Brenden (Brittany) Biedermann, Huey (Allison) Carey and Nadeen (Aaron) Carey. He will be sadly missed by his special partner Sherry A. Davey and his special friend Shem Mattinas.

Glen is predeceased by his brother-in-law Hubert (Eileen) Carey, Preston (Ruth) Biedermann. His uncles James (Karen) Moses, Samuel (Frances) Cheechoo, David (Frances) Trapper, and George Moses, his aunts Bessie (George) Trapper, Mary (James) Linklater and Kathleen Moses, his grandparents Thomas and Nellie Cheechoo and John and Eva Moses. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, aunts, uncles and great nieces and nephews whom he loved so dearly.

A private visitation was held. Glen will be laid to rest in Moose Factory, ON. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
