Gisele started her courageous battle with cancer about a year ago. After many chemotherapy treatments, her body and especially her heart became very weak. On April 17, 2020 at the age of 54 years, she fell into eternal sleep with loved ones by her side. She is survived by her loving husband Norm Jalbert (late father Jean-Guy) and her cherished boys Guy Jalbert and Steve Jalbert (wife Alyssa). She will be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Carson, Capree and Cambria who brought sunshine and joy to her life which gave her strength and kept her spirit up even in her weakest moments. Dear sister of Diane Riopel, Lina Riopel (husband Don Frappier), Nicole Riopel and Janet Riopel (Rick Demers) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She also leaves her brother-in-law; Denis Jalbert and sisters-in-law; Simone Jalbert, Claudette Jalbert and Julie Sullivan along with her in-laws Roland & late Doriane Fecteau (Jalbert). Predeceased by both her parents Ovide & Elizabeth (nee Bisson) Riopel. She will also be sadly missed by her many friends.
As per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the
