C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District, le mercredi 26 août, 2020 à l’âge de 80 ans. Époux bien-aimé de 43 ans à Huguette Cote (née Daigneault). Cher père de Stephane Cote (Doris Deschatelets) et Sylvain Cote, tous de Timmins. Grand-père adoré de Emilie, Yannick, Jo-Anne et Jeannine, ainsi que beau-fils de feu Arthur et feue Simone Daigneault. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs oncles et tantes. Germain a conduit des taxis pour de nombreuses années et c'est là qu'il a reçu son surnom "Control". Dans son temps libre, il aimait faire de la chasse et de la pêche. La famille voudrait remercier les employés de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District et tout spécialement, l'infirmière Chrissy de l'Hospice. Dû à la pandémie, un service funéraire privé pour la famille aura lieu. Les dons commémoratifs à la charité de votre choix seront grandement appréciés. The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of 43 years to Huguette Cote (nee Daigneault). Loving father of Stephane Cote (Doris Deschatelets) and Sylvain Cote both of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Emilie, Yannick, Jo-Anne, Jeannine. Dear son-in-law of the late Arthur and late Simone Daigneault. Also left to mourn are his many aunts and uncles. Germain was a taxi driver for many years and that's where he gained his nickname "Control". on his spare time he loved to go hunting and fishing. The family would like to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital and a special thanks to nurse Chrissy in the Hospice department. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made a decision to have a private family service.
