The family announces with sorrow the passing of Françoise at the Timmins Extendicare on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her first husband Fernand Drouin (1976) and her second husband Albert Gignac (1984). Loving mother of Johannes Boileau (Guy) of Parry Sound and Lynn Jacques (Rejean) of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Gasior, Melanie Gasior (Paul Perron) and Jason Gasior and great-grandmother of Austin and Donovan Villars. Dear sister of Antoinette Brisson. She leaves to mourn her friend Norman Passaw. Predeceased by her siblings Sister Irene, Ronald, Yvonne, Fabiola, Roméo, Stanislas, Onésime, Joseph-Elzéar and Gregoire. Françoise was a devoted volunteer. She spent countless hours helping at the Lord's Kitchen and at the Blood bank. She was a proud member of "Les Filles d'Isabelle, Les Aînes de la Ronde". A special thank you to the staff of the Extendicare at Kamiskotia and Big Water for the excellent care given to our mother.
As per Françoise’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Lord's Kitchen would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME,
