It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Florence at the Timmins & District Hospital on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Gaston (Ti-N'Homme) in 2008. Beloved mother of Lilianne Robichaud (Laurent) of Timmins, Francine Marceau (Normand) of Linden, Michigan and Philippe Ratte (Linda Belair) of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Michel (Julie), Marc (Gina), Stéphane (LeeAnn), Steve (Taby), Joey (Jessica), Jason (Amanda), Célina (Dave) and Nicholas. Loving great grandmother of Kayla, Venessa, Mathieu, Olivia, Alexandra, Kaiden, Sophia, Sophie, Corbin, Cameron and Kason as well as great great grandmother of Addison.

Dear sister of Rachelle Lamontagne (late Raymond) of Tilbury and the late Corinne Dufour (Jean-Guy) of Fauquier. Also predeceased by her parents Delphis and Eva Duchesne, her brother Paul Duchesne (Agnes) and her sister Jeanne Labrecque (Rejean).

Florence was very family oriented; her family was always her number one priority. She enjoyed being outdoors. Hunting and fishing were her favorite past-times. She was in her element when she was at the cottage. Later in life, she would make buildings out of tissue boxes.

In her memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will take place in Fauquier at a later date. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. Florence était très axée sur la famille. Pour elle, sa famille a toujours été sa priorité numéro un. Elle aimait être à l'extérieur. La chasse et la pêche étaient ses passe-temps favoris. Elle était dans son élément lorsqu'elle était au chalet. Plus tard dans la vie, elle fabriquera des bâtiments avec des boîtes de mouchoirs.

En la mémoire de Florence, les dons commémoratifs à la Fondation du cœur seront grandement appréciés. Selon ses vœux, l'incinération aura lieu et l'enterrement de ses cendres aura lieu à Fauquier à une date ultérieure.
