Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence Hotte can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Florence Marie Hotte (Plante)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Florence at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke on May 31, 2020 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Lorenzo Hotte. Devoted mother of Leonard (late Annie Bouchard) of Gatineau, Anita (David Browne) of Pembroke, late Paulette Fleming, Laurent (Louise) of Timmins and Nadine (aka Edna) Briere of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She is also predeceased by her son Joseph, her parents Damase & Aurore Plante, all her brothers; Laurent (Albina), Conrad (Rose), Real (Gabrielle), Aimé (Irene), Bernard and her sister Clara Plante.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, PSWs, staff and volunteers on 3A at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke for the great care given to Florence. Many thanks to Nancy Lemire and Dr Lane for their compassion and empathy. We could not have entrusted our mother to a better nursing home.
In light of the current corona virus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have visitation and a memorial service at a later date. Remembrance donations to Miramichi Lodge would be greatly appreciated.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
