The family announces with great sorrow her passing on March 27, 2022 at the Timmins & District Hospital at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Gilbert Dallaire. Cherished mother of Murielle Hicks (Eddy), Richard Forget (Chantal), Rosanne Forget (Gary) and Robert Forget (Nicole). Loving grandmother of Sylvie (Sam), Ashley (Dave), Jessie (Wen), Tyler (Angele), Marcie (Kato), and Josée. Proud great-grandmother of Chyenne, Chase, Avery and Jacob. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Fernande is predeceased by her parents Edouard and Elizabeth Bédard and her many brothers and sisters and her son Fernand Forget.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kiersten Parr for her endless compassion and the excellent care Mama received. Also, a sincere thank you to Dr. Parr and all medical teams, both near and far.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service or visitation will be held. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.

Wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. From the moment one meets you, they are blessed! Your warm, kind, friendly and gentle soul makes everyone around you smile. Your open heart, kind ways and sense of humour has touched so many lives and made everyone feel welcomed and accepted. You always took such pride and joy in everything you did and touched, while creating your own masterpiece of making something beautiful out of nothing.

You are the beautiful flower that blooms in our hearts and will always blossom just from the sound of your name. May your angel wings carry you effortlessly to beautiful places and new adventures, our precious Fernande. You were the Rock Star of the party and the life line of our foundation! Sing Mama Sing!

Your strength, courage, determination and resilience to fight the overwhelming odds of survival has baffled and amazed most doctors and surgeons, which even they began to think that you were the bionic woman!
