Martin, Evelyn (1929-2020)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday February 10, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of late Phileman David Martin. Loving mother to Ernie (Margaret), Barbara (Edward), Judy, Peggy (Jim), Gary, Marlene, Roseann (Wayne) Dan, Ken, Margaret, Colleen, her infant son late James Albert (1948), late Arthur William (1992) and late Allan Bruce (1992). She is survived by her 31 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Earland Scott, Eleanore (Jim) Chittum, late Lillian Hancock (2008), late Beulah Morin (1982) and late Katie Norman (2018). She was also predeceased by her parents George and Vadne Miller. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from the St-Matthew's Cathedral. A reception will follow at the Timmins Native Friendship Centre. Remembrance donations to Timmins Native Friendship Centre or to the St-Matthew's Cathedral would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
