The family announces with sorrow the death of Eleanor Joan McMillan in Timmins at the age of 92. She was born in the famous silver mining town of Cobalt, Ontario, in March of 1930 to May and Ephriam Trebilcock. A lifelong Northern Ontario resident, she lived and worked in Timmins and Elliot Lake during her careers as a nurse and later as a medical secretary. She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Donald), her son Douglas (Cheryl), and her brother Edwin (Gladys). She was a proud grandmother to Evan, Elliot, and Samuel. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy.
Cremation has taken place and interment of her ashes will take place at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, ON.
