Obituary for Eileen Godda (McNaughton)
On November 18th, two angels got their wings; both mother and daughter will journey to heaven together, hand in hand.
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of late William J. Godda (1994). Loving mother of Rocky Godda (Barb), Vonna Tull (Dave), Sharon Rainville (late Paul), Randy Godda (Lorraine), Leeanne Menard (late Ray), Dawne Parolin (Chris), Fran Rozon (Mike) and Robin Godda (Nicole). Dear grandmother of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, great friends and her daughter-in-law Germaine Godda.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, her daughters Rhonda and Faye, her siblings Donnie, Mavis, Elaine and Beth, sons-in-law Vic and Pat.
Eileen was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She lived for her family and loved her children dearly. She will be remembered for her great sense of humour and her will to help everyone.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at the Golden Manor for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Nurse Practitioner Debbie Kapias. In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have decided to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
