Our sincerest condolences. John will be missed by many. John was a mentor to me as I entered practice and soon became a trusted and respected colleague and friend. He was not only a skilled surgeon, but a great physician who practiced with kindness and compassion. John's passing is a great loss, but he has enriched those who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him.

It is with sad hearts that we hear the news of the passing of Dr John Sullivan
I always remember his kind words and enjoyable stories at any of the Rumball/Racicot functions
I also remember my father, Dr Gerald O'Dwyer and Dr John engaged and long chats discussing U of T medical school days, with each sipping scotch.
We are sorry for your loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time God bless.

In memory of a dedicated, committed ,good man. Dr. Sullivan was a fixture at St Mary's and at TADH and he was a role model to many of us in our early years in medicine.I vividly remember the stories my aunt and my mother would tell about him as a surgeon and as a good human being. I also remember him at our house when I was young at the various surgical parties. Dr. Sullivan was simply a good man. May he rest in peace.
