Obituary for Donald Pichette

Donald Pichette
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Loving husband of Diane Pichette (nee Bouchard). Dear father of Patricia Pichette-Nault (Don) and Stephane Pichette. Cherished grandfather to his only grandchild Donald Nault Jr. He is survived by his siblings Jeannine Guillemette (late Denis), Robert Pichette (Betty), Gerald Pichette (Betty), Louise Gagnon (Raymond) and Ronald Pichette (Claudette). Predeceased by his parents Louis & May Pichette, his sister Claudette Pichette and his uncle Rene Dupras.

Donald was born in Timmins on May 9, 1949. He worked as a heavy equipment operator with the mines for many years. He really enjoyed music and learned to play the guitar on his own. He loved his wife of 50 years and his children but his pride and joy was his grandson Don.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at TDH for allowing family some extra time with Donald and to Dr. Bellemare for the many phone calls and home visits. Your act of kindness will not go unnoticed. Also, a thank you to Sue Corbeil for all the time you spent with Donald.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery in the spring. Remembrance donations to Timmins Food Bank or The Yo Mobile would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
