1925-2018

The family announces with great sorrow Domenico's passing at the Timmins Extendicare on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Teresa (nee D'Angelo) in 2013. Loving father of Frank (Julie) of Timmins and Patricia Ciarrocca (Rod Speake) of Oshawa. Cherished Nonno of Joshua, Christopher, Kailyn and Braydon. He leaves to mourn his sister Rachela Ciarrocca of Italy and his brother-in-law Emidio (Rita) D'Angelo of Timmins. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Maria (John) Costello, Frank (Cecilia) D'Angelo, Richard D'Angelo all of Timmins, Ginevra Ciarrocca & Fausta Mascia of St Catherine and many nieces and nephews in Italy
Domenico's passions were gardening, wine making, sausage making but most importantly, his family. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. DiTullio, Dr. Vaithilingam and also the nursing staff at Extendicare Pearl Lake Ward whom "Papa" enjoyed sharing chocolates with. Your outstanding care and compassion will never be forgotten.
Also predeceased by his parents Francesco and Ginevra Ciarrocca and his brothers Nicola and Giovanni Ciarrocca.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. John Lemire officiating). Entombment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday evening, December 26, 2018 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre,
