The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at the age of 69 years.Beloved wife of late Robert "Bob" Barrette (2017), loving mother of Michel and Marc (Danielle Dallaire) and cherished grandmother of Taiya Barrette all of Timmins. Diane is predeceased by her parents Robert and Rolande Martel. Diane loved to travel and enjoyed playing golf and most importantly, being a mother. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. at the Miron Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre followed by a Funeral Service held at 3 p.m on Monday, November 18th, 2019 from the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Taiya Barrette Education Fund (cheque payable to Marc Barrette) or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
