The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Devan Chayka can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My heart goes to Devan's family and friends. I got to know Devan this fall as I drove him to and from his hospital visits and we had some good conversations. I work for Rick and Carolyn at Let's Go.We talked about our varied interests in music, among other things. When I heard he was in hospital, I really wanted to come and visit. I'm sorry I didn't make it happen. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless and comfort you in the season ahead.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences Monique and family.
Devan was a wonderful young man who suffered many health challenges since birth.
Devan confronted each challenge with strength, and courage. He was an excellent teacher to us all about love, compassion, humility, spirit, optimism, hope. We are all better people for having been in his life but better yet, for having him in all of our lives. May he rest in everlasting peace in God's kingdom.
