Devan Chayka
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Devan at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the age of 29 years. Dear son of James Briand (Sylvie) and Jo-Ann Fenton (Trevor). Brother of Mikaela Castonguay, Renee Briand and Calvin Shushack. Cherished grandson of Monique Chayka (late Raymond) and Grandpa Gus & Grandma Lise. He will be missed by his uncles Rodney Chayka, Jason Chayka (Michelle) and his cousin Kayleb, Ozzy Cecchini, Jade Dagenais and his aunt Dominique Gagné (Alain). He leaves his niece and nephew Paige and Blaize.

The family would like to thank everyone who was a part of Devan's life from doctors to taxi drivers. Your kindness towards him will never be forgotten. He had a kind soul and he was loved by all who had a chance to meet him.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
