It is with profound sadness that the family of Debbie Martel announce her sudden but peaceful passing surrounded by her family on February 10, 2023 at the age of 69 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Victor of 48 years, and loving mother of Jason (Kristine Galeng) and Melissa McDonald (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Melinna, Logan, Riley, Nathan and Sam. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Roberteen Major and her sister Roberta Major. Debbie was the most loving, caring, kind soul, who treated everyone like family! She will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Parr and Dr. Paquette and all the wonderful staff in the Respiratory Unit at the Timmins and District Hospital for being so caring and loving during this difficult time.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation or service will take place. A celebration of life will happen at later date. Remembrance donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association and would be kindly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, On.
