Mousseau, Darryl Joseph (March 20, 1949 - May 18, 2023)
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday May 18, 2023 at the age of 74 year. Loving husband, of 40 years, to Rosalind. Dear father of Joel Mousseau (Shannon) and James Mousseau (Aimee). Loving grandfather of Alex, Declan, Deirdre, Dexter and Darcy. Dear brother of Darlene Mousseau and Debbie (Mark) St. Aubin and brother in-law of Zoe Fillier (Tony Dietrich), Tara (Dong) Lee and Bob Fillier (Christy). He also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Muriel and Joe Mousseau, his brother Gary Donovan and his brother-in-law Andy Fillier. As a young man, Darryl worked at Kam Kotia Mine and then at the Kidd Creek Met and Mine site. He started as an electrician and later worked doing programmable logic computers in the Electrical Engineering Department, he worked there for 25 years to the day. His later working years were spent working, as a partner with his wife, in their company Rozteck Ltd. He and his wife enjoyed 15 years of retirement, travelling from home base (Timmins) to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas every winter. Rosalind would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Emerge Dept, second floor ICU and Hospice Care at Timmins and District Hospital for the excellent care Darryl received. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
