It's with heavy hearts that the Lauzon family announce the passing of Daniel on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Family was by his side shortly before via video conferencing and his daughter played guitar as he passed. Daniel was 3 weeks short of 67 years old. Beloved son of Marcelle Lauzon and the late Rene Lauzon.
Devoted father to Danielle (Shawn), Stephanie (Dusty), Maxim and Dillon Lauzon. Proud grandpa to Bailey, Greyson and Maeve.
Also left to mourn are his brothers Gary Lauzon and Yvan Lauzon (Lauren), his sisters Carol Lively (Dale) and Lorraine Stewart as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Diane Fasciano, his brothers Claude and Raynald Lauzon.
At this time, the family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Kvas, Dr. Quevillon as well as Dr. Herst from Sudbury. A special thank you to Sharon and the nurses in the oncology department and to Nick from Bayshore for his dedication. Thank you as well to Greg Deschesne for being such a good friend during tough times and to Paul Belec for being a good neighbour.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from St. Dominique Church, on Norman St. In memory of Daniel, remembrance donations to the TADH - Oncology Department would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
