It is with a heavy heart that the family announce the passing of Clarisse (Claire) Laneville. Beloved wife of the late Rene (2005).

Left to mourn are her children; Jackie (Gilles) Rivest, Pierre (Elizabeth) and Paul (Joy) as well as her stepchildren; Imelda, Florent (Monique Tremblay), Fleurette (Late René) Lavictoire, Raymond (Charlotte), Vivian (Late Norm) Moro, Late Gisele (late Romeo) Labrèque, Colette (Germain) Bisson. Cherished grandmother of 23 Grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Late Gerald (Nancy), Late Ronald (Jane), Helene (Late Dave) Fulton, Late Estelle (Phillip) Bastien, Lucien, Late Rita, Michel (Lorraine) and Late Daniel. She leaves 17 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Jeanne Charette.

Claire was a proud member of many organizations such as: Women of the moose, Les Fille D’ Isabelle and Paroisse Notre Dame de Lourdes.

Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de la Paix Church at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 27, 2023. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow at church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory can be made to the Timmins District Hospital Foundation. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
