It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Claire at the Golden Manor on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved mother of Nicole (Lionel) Lacroix and Michel Belisle (Joëlle Fortier). Grandmother of Chantal Lacroix, Marc Lacroix (Crystal Marcotte) as well as great grandmother of Chanel, Cedric, Jaxson, Jaylen. She will forever cherish her godchildren Late Kathleen McCoshen and Brian Gingualano. She is survived by her siblings Laurier Martel (Late Jeanne), Suzanne Martel et Lorraine (Paul) Rosnawski. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Lydia Martel, her brothers and sisters Roland Martel, Germaine McCoshen (Rodney), Gaëtane Boychuck and Donald Martel (Caroline) as well as the father of her children Nelson Belisle.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. In her memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
