MacRae, Brenda Anne Elizabeth
(1953 – 2019)

The family announces with great sorrow Brenda’s passing at Health Sciences North Hospital, Sudbury, Ontario on Thursday April 11, 2019 at the age of 65. Brenda was a Geologist and enjoyed volunteer work for the CWL and the Girl Guides. She also spent many years working for the Canadian Cancer Society encouraging numerous members of the community to volunteer for a great cause.

Brenda loved the natural beauty of the Canadian wilderness through camping, hiking, canoeing and photography. A special place in her heart was reserved for her children and grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her Husband, William (Bill), her children, Andrew (Carla) of Vancouver, Robert (Beth) of Boston and Virginia of Mississauga as well as her grandchildren; Ian, William, Noah and James. Her siblings, Larry O’Connor (Dawn), Suzanne Robertson (Neil), and Barbara O’Connor (Stan Holiday). She is predeceased by her parents Gerald and Barbara O’Connor.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from St-Anthony of Padua (Msgr. Pat Lafleur officiating). Everyone is welcome. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday at the
