1957-2020
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday September 23, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Loving wife and best friend of 40 years to Richard Lapierre. Beloved mother of Darryl (Kerrey) Lapierre and their children Reese and Laurell, and Melanie (Greg) Labreche and their children Colbie and Evie, all of Timmins. Also left to mourn are her brother Roy (Irene) Tinney of B.C. and her sister-in-law Rejeanne (Isadore) Commando of Earlton. She is survived by her special aunt and uncle Ruthie and Murwood, her special friends Marc and Linda, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Norma Tinney. Brenda worked for 34 years at the CIBC Bank, where she met several people and made wonderful friendships over the years. She loved nothing more than spending time at the cottage and always enjoyed being surrounded by her loved ones. She had a great sense of humour, but was always calm and approachable when needed. In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made a decision to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
