Obituary for Brandon Vignola

Brandon Vignola
VIGNOLA, Brandon (1993 - 2019)
Despite our broken hearts, our tears, it is with a forever sorrow and deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved Brandon, he was the precious daddy to his beautiful girl Ava, loving son of Jocelyn and Linda Vignola, his two brothers he looked up to, Joce (Charlene) and Patrick (Jessica), dear uncle of Abby, Lux, Rainn, Lincoln and proud godfather to his nephew Maddox. He will be sadly missed by his beloved dog Disney.
Also left to mourn this beautiful soul, his Godmother Manon Ieropoli (Dominik), Ginette Dupond (Lionel), Pierrette Ouellette (late Serge), Real Vignola (Jacinthe) Rejean Vignola (Leone), his special uncle Gaston Vignola and Matante Marie whom Brandon had a very special connection to, his aunt Therese Jalbert (Vignola), his uncle Dave Menard (Lissbet) as well as his many cousins and his so many friends. Brandon was pre-deceased by his grand-parents August and Estelle Vignola and Lionel and Yvette Menard. We were not ready to let him go, he had so many dreams and goals to achieve, he was motivated to fight but he never got the chance to fully lace up the gloves, our son lived and died with dignity and respect, he was so loved by so many, Brandon was a unique old soul, he was kind, loyal, gifted, talented, pure heart, polite and respectful a truly remarkable human being, he had many passions, his most precious passion and gem of his life was his beautiful daughter Ava whom he adored, every time they would be together she would sit on her daddy take his face look into his eyes and say " daddy I love you" that would just melt his heart and loved her even more. They had many tea parties, Elsa and Anna were his favourite dolls, he played the Ken Barbie doll when it was Barbie time, he knew every Disney movie by heart, he would tease his daughter when he would imitate talking German and Russian she just loved it. We knew who was the boss in this father / daughter relationship … her name is Ava. Brandon was quite an accomplished guitar player he can play you a tune or two anytime, he mostly loved to listen to the 60's and 70's but make no mistake about it, Jimmy Hendrix, Nirvana and the Beatles made his cut as well, he loved to read he said reading was knowledge and knowledge was power, he loved poetry as well, love to draw to paint, art he said was good for the soul, among his passion were catching up with his friends, Jamie, Ryan and Gab thank you for being there for your buddy Brandon was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at 12 yrs of age however that never deterred him from doing anything, Brandon started his first job at 13 yrs old at East Side Mario's and worked there for almost 10 yrs, he was a good hard worker, from there he worked at various jobs until he started working for Major Drilling until his death as a driller helper, he was so proud to have landed that job was learning so much, and wanted to do so much more. Brandon reached an amazing goal in his life, he made us damn proud to be his family, most importantly is that he was proud of himself. Since our son has left us on Sunday we have been overwhelmingly shown by family, special friends and strangers how much he was loved, the support, the phone calls, the emails, the text messages, the food, the flowers and love this family has received is insurmountably amazing, the Facebook messages are so heartfelt and means the world to us, we never want our son to be forgotten and please never shy away from mentioning his name, his stories, you will not hurt our broken hearts as that has happened all ready. Know that his name will help heal our broken hearts and his stories will keep his beautiful soul alive ...... All this Brandon because of YOU my son, because you made an impression on a lot of hearts. Funeral Mass will be held on his birthday, November 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the St-Dominique Church (Fr. Alexis O'Lenga officiating). Remembrance donations to Ava Education Fund (cheque payable to Linda Vignola) would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
