The family announces with great sorrow his passing at home on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Agnes Etherington (nee Sackaney). Cherished father of Ernest Etherington and Cathay Estrada (Sean Dougan). Dear grandfather of Anthony, Tasheena, Shawnee, Josh, Troy, Aspen, Sage, Louie, Maverick, Hayden, Scarlett, Emma and Gavin. Great-grandfather of Jether, Drayson, Scotia, Nehemiah and Isaiah. Billy will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his son-in-law Nelson Paul-Martin.

He is predeceased by his parents Sinclair and Elizabeth Ehterington, his dear sons Peter and John and his granddaughter Josie.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. The chapel service will take place from the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm, Pastor Robert Linklater will be officiating. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
