The family announces with deep sorrow his passing on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his children Christine, Linda, Christopher, Tracy and his 5 grandchildren. Barry will be sadly missed by Celeste and her children Danica and Koa and his sister June. Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Aldage and Martha Belanger, his siblings Tom, Gerald and Pat and his son Beau.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Lynne Schwertfeger for her many years of care up to the end of his journey.

As per Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
