I always looked forward to seeing your Mom when settling my family's neverending tab at Simpsons Sears' in high school. She always took a keen interest in me, had such a kind, expressive face and a very knowing way about that setting. Jane must have been a wonderful career role model! So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. In high school, whenever I went to your home your Mom was always so welcoming. My last memory of your Mom was years ago when I was tent camping at Kettle Lakes. I went for a swim and saw your Mom and Dad and we had a great chat. Your Mom invited me for a drink after supper at their campsite and I accepted. It was a lovely visit. I know the loss of a Mom is hard but you were all so lucky to have that woman in your life. Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences. "Mrs. Rowe" was the rhubarb lady when I was a little kid. I remember sitting on her steps on College Street with a stalk of rhubarb and a small dish of sugar. It was a really big deal for me. I will always remember her kindness.
