Obituary for Baby Rèmi Morel

Baby Rèmi Morel
Rèmi Miyah Morel passed peacefully in the arms of her loving mom on September 5, 2022 at 3:55am. Rèmi was born on August 31, 2022 at 1:22pm weighing in at 6.11 pounds. During her six short days here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in every sunset and sunrise. Rèmi arrived five weeks early, and her debut was fiery, on her own time and just in time to be a summer baby. She enjoyed two magical days at home with her parents and big sissy singing, basking in the sun, snuggling, napping and showered in love. Rèmi is the daughter of David Morel and Cassandra Rivers. Rèmi is survived by one sibling, Charlotte Morel. Her paternal grandparents are Carola Mask (Jim) and Reg Morel; and maternal grandparents Cheryl Brooks (Don) and Ken Rivers (Christine). Rèmi perfectly embodied her middle name Miyah, Cassandra and David’s sixteen year old dachshund, that is full of spunk, marches to the beat of her own drum, loves to bask in the sun, but most importantly has proved to be the littlest big fighter who fought with all her might. Rèmi’s gentle soul will live on with us forever and each time the rays of the sun grace those that survive her, Rèmi is reaching out to say “I love you”.

“If our love was enough to save you, you would have lived forever.” - love always, Mom and Dad.
