Obituary for Annunziata "Tina" D'Arcangelo (Erotico)

Annunziata "Tina" D'Arcangelo (Erotico)
The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Salvatore D’Arcangelo. Dear mother of Maria-Luisa Plouffe of London, Bruno (Lise) of Timmins and Linda Kozlowski (Marian) of Hornepayne. Dear grandmother of Lisa-Marie, Jeff, Katie, Mark, Kara, Jurney and Briggs. Dear sister of Josiane Marechal (Daniel), Rosette Chatelaine and Robert Erotico (Véronique) all of France. Predeceased by her parents Rocco and Vincenzina Erotico and by her brother Robert Erotico all of France. Tina immigrated to Canada when she was just 19 years old. She quickly learned English and later obtained her high school diploma. Tina was fluent in Italian, French, English and Portuguese. She had a passion for writing and even won awards for her memoir style work. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Parish where she volunteered for many years as a reader during Italian mass, a translator and secretary for the Parish counsel. Most notably, Tina could be seen riding her green bicycle throughout Timmins. The family would like to thank Dr. Schwertfeger, the staff from St. Mary’s Garden, the nurses from the Hospice unit, Marnie Chisholm and all others involved in her care over the last few years. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 and a scheduled visitation will be held prior to the service. Any person wishing to attend the visitation and/or funeral MUST call the funeral home at 705-264-4444 between 9am and 4pm to schedule a time. Masks and social distancing measures will be required. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
