It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Alyssa after a brief illness at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the age of 31 years.
Beloved spouse of Chris Crocker. Loving mother of Jonathan & Dominik Lamadeleine and Riley & Raiden Tom. Left to mourn is her father Tom Moreau (Amanda) and her mother Deborah Veldhuis (Tim Rorke). Dear sister of Becky Moreau (fiancé Shane Carter) and step-sister of Sarah Henderson (Larry Smith) and Becca Henderson. Adored auntie to Owen Carter and Hunter & Hudson Smith. Cherished granddaughter of late Margaret & Jean Moreau, John and Leona Veldhuis and Austin (late Donna) Lentz. Dear niece of Carole (Paul) Klockers, Joanne (late Brian) Etmanski, Dan (Terri) Moreau, Chris Veldhuis (Sarah Gagne), Jacky and Jon Veldhuis and loved by numerous cousins. Thank you to her friend Jessica Lutz for her support with the boys while Alyssa was hospitalized.
A service of remembrance will be held at 4 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel. Remembrance donations to the Education Fund of Riley and Raiden Tom - Cheques payable to Debbie Veldhuis would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 1-3:45 pm on Friday March 1, 2019
