LACHANCE, Alice (nee Chenette)
1936-2019

The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, June 15, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Roland Lachance (1998). Cherished mother of Lorraine Smylie (Jim), Suzanne Lauten (Ed), Daniel Rochon (Joanne), Richard Rochon (Sylvie) and Liliane Lachance. Loving grandmother of Len, Joshua, Micheal, Carmen, Michelle, Jacqueline, Kyle, Guy, Charmaine, Yvon, Julie and Sundae. Alice was a proud great grandmother of 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Sister of Helene Huet, Joyce Chenette and Rita Wagner (Norm). She is predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Lilybelle Chenette, her daughter Claire (2005) and her brother in law Leo.

Alice was very social and loved live country music. She also liked camping and the outdoors. She took pride in her home and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. Alice had a kind and generous heart and loved her family and friends dearly. Her daily phone calls will be missed.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 1:30 pm from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Church (Fr. Richard Ngoy and Deacon Michel Neron officiating) followed by a lunch in the basement of the Church. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the
