La famille annonce son décès à l’Extendicare Timmins le dimanche 25 septembre 2022 à l'âge de 92 ans. Prédécédé par ses parents Gilberte (née Desrochers) et Arthur Boyer et sa sœur Pierrette Boyer. Laissés dans le deuil sont ses frères Lionel (feu Rachel) et Ronald (feu Pauline) ainsi que ses neveux et nièces; Daniel Boyer (Sylvie), Claude Boyer, Paul Boyer (Denyse), Pamela Boyer, Denise Boyer, Donald Boyer (Youki) et Kevin Boyer (Heather).

Albert a longtemps résidé à Foleyet, ON, où il a travaillé pour les Chemins de fer nationaux du Canada jusqu'à sa retraite. Il a ensuite travaillé dans la réparation de petits moteurs pendant quelques années avant de déménager à Timmins avec sa sœur Pierrette. Il a passé de nombreuses années à son chalet à Ivanhoe Lake avec sa famille et ses amis où de nombreux souvenirs ont été créés.

La famille tient à remercier les infirmières et le personnel de l'Extendicare Timmins pour leurs soins et leur gentillesse envers Albert.

Selon ses souhaits, l’incinération a eu lieu et un service commémoratif privé aura lieu. Les dons commémoratifs à la Société canadienne du cancer ou à la Fondation de l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district seraient grandement appréciés. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au SALON FUNÉRAIRE MIRON-WILSON, CENTRE DE CRÉMATION ET DE RÉCEPTION, 150 Sud, rue Balsam, Timmins, ON.


The family announces his peaceful passing at the Extendicare Timmins on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by his parents Gilberte (nee Desrochers) and Arthur Boyer and his sister Pierrette Boyer. Left to mourn are his brothers Lionel (late Rachel) and Ronald (late Pauline) along with his nieces and nephews; Daniel Boyer (Sylvie), Claude Boyer, Paul Boyer (Denyse), Pamela Boyer, Denise Boyer, Donald Boyer (Youki) and Kevin Boyer (Heather).

Albert was a longtime residence of Foleyet, ON where he worked for Canadian National Railways until his retirement. He then worked in small engine repairs for a few years before moving to Timmins with his sister Pierrette. He enjoyed many years at his cottage at Ivanhoe Lake with family and friends where many memories were made throughout the years.

The family wish to thank the nurses and staff at the Extendicare Timmins for their care and kindness towards Albert.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
